At White Oak Bridal, we partner with independent designers and smaller bridal brands from the US and around the world. Like the Michigan-based husband-and-wife team behind Elissar Bridal, or Tara LaTour, who produces every gown in her Minnesota atelier. But whether they’re in New York, New Zealand, or somewhere in between, our designer partners are all creative, flexible, and a joy to work with. They focus on creative silhouettes, beautiful fabrications, customizability, and size inclusivity.

The Hera Couture collection is all about airy fabrics, couture construction, and timeless sophistication. It’s a perfect example of what we think of as “classic with a twist.” Katie’s designs and her team’s expert craftsmanship make brides of all sizes feel beautiful and confident.
The Elissar collection is all about attention to detail. The designs from this Michigan-based team are one-of-a-kind. Modern and timeless, they bring a perfect touch of glam with hand-sewn appliqué combined with stunning corsetry.
Trish Peng, out of Auckland, New Zealand, is renowned for impeccable craftsmanship, timeless elegance, and modern perspective on wedding gowns. Founded in 2014, Trish is known for her feminine and sophisticated aesthetic. She specializes in fully customizable gowns, allowing brides to personalize every detail.
Born in Havana and now based in New York City, Antonio Gual is known for his masterful blend of classic elegance and modern sensibilities, designed to celebrate every bride’s unique personality. Gual infuses his collections with a sense of edgy romance with expert tailoring and delicate details like lace appliqué and intricate beading.
The Studio Levana Curvy collection brought the brand worldwide recognition with both retailers and brides. Evgenia Shimanov, the bridal visionary behind Studio Levana, brings an unmatched level of attention to fit and comfort. There’s even a patented internal corset that you have to try to believe. Add to that Evgenia’s impeccable modern style, which makes these gowns really cool.
Carefree and fashion-forward, the Astrid & Mercedes line is by bridal couture legend Lea-Ann Belter. Sewn by hand of silks and laces, the collection is cut, sewn, and finished right next door in Toronto, Ontario. Clean, modern silhouettes and fabrications, with some truly exquisite laces. The gowns are a distinctive blend of something old and something new.
Handmade in Romania and finished in the US, Dora’s dresses boast modern silhouettes, intricate laces, and a great fit. From dramatic ball gowns to more tailored designs, every gown strikes a balance of classy and sexy. And delightful details make each of her gowns unique. Dora calls them “designs that celebrate the complex dimensions of a woman’s spirit.”
Kathryn Bass Bridal dresses are designed for every body. Their styles are infinitely customizable since every gown is hand made with love in Vancouver, British Colombia. Size-inclusive to the core, these gowns are all about bringing dreams to life for the modern romantic.
After rapidly gaining popularity with Bay Area brides, San Francisco-based Bo Lee continues to produce bridal gowns of exceptional style and quality. We’re excited to be her only New York area retailer! The Bo Lee Collection combines contemporary, unique, and detailed fabrics with sleek modern cuts. They’re exquisitely crafted with styles that embody the modern spirit of today’s bride.
Designer Mazen El Masri’s Annarita bridal collection is about refined fabrications and a commitment to exquisite detail. Based in Toronto, Mazen crafts timeless romantic gowns infused with Parisian elegance. His career includes work at the legendary houses of Elie Saab and Ines Di Santo. White Oak is thrilled to be one of only a handful of retailers to offer these gowns.
Tara LaTour’s collection is filled with, as she puts it, “modern designs that won’t make grandma faint!” Founded in 2011, her studio produces classic silhouettes mixed with romantic details and modern fabrics. With every body in mind, Tara’s designs are distinctive yet easy to wear. And they’re all produced in her studio outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota!
Jimme Huang brings an unwavering passion for creativity to his collections, with innovative concepts and captivating styles. It’s a modern aesthetic, seamlessly blending luxury materials with tailored, timeless designs. They’re sexy and fashion-forward, but remarkably easy to wear.
